Bryan Page

Biologist

Bryan Page has been a biologist with the Institute for Wetland and Waterfowl Research since 2008. With a high interest in wetland biogeochemistry his present and past work focuses on the cycling of nutrients, the sequestration of carbon and the bioavailability of trace metals in different wetland types across Canada. Bryan is responsible for coordinating IWWRs field research activities for the Wetland Restoration Incentive Program and the Broughton’s Creek watershed.

Bryan has a B.Sc. in Environmental Science and a M.Sc. in Aquatic Chemistry from the University of Manitoba. Prior to working with Ducks Unlimited Canada, Bryan worked as an on-site Aquatic Chemist responsible for the day-to-day activities of the water chemistry laboratory at the Experimental Lakes Area with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada. Bryan also has experience in the areas of fish biology, littoral ecology and ornithology.
