The Planned Giving program of Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC) offers you a unique avenue in which to leave a lasting conservation legacy. Your contribution can make a profound difference and provide you with considerable tax savings.

There are many options available to you that will provide immediate tax benefits and low cost alternatives for making a substantial gift to DUC.

There are various methods by which you can include DUC in your financial and estate planning.

Gifts through a will usually take two forms; outright gifts of a specified cash amount or piece of property or a portion (usually a percentage) of the residue of your estate. The residue of your estate is the amount left after the expenses, taxes and other bequests have been paid. A bequest to DUC results in a tax receipt that can be used to offset up to 100 per cent of your final tax return with excess amounts applied to taxes from the previous year.
