Volunteer for Youth —Help Youth Learn About Wetlands

Greenwing is Ducks Unlimited Canada’s (DUC) membership program for youth, while Project Webfoot is DUC's school-based environmental education program.

Every year, DUC volunteers put on local and regional events where Greenwing members can come together to learn about wetlands through fun, hands-on outdoor activities. They get to meet other young people with similar interests, learn new skills and see first hand how to enjoy the great outdoors in a safe environment!

Greenwing events and Project Webfoot class sponsorships are possible only through the leadership of DUC’s dedicated volunteers.

  • Do you know someone who you’d like to help get involved in a Greenwing event? Are you looking to get active in your community?
  • Do you enjoy the outdoors and working with young people?
  • Are you a teacher or retired teacher who could help DUC organize Greenwing or classroom wetland field trip events?

Then sign up to become a DUC education volunteer and help DUC make Greenwing or Project Webfoot programs even stronger in your community!

DUC’s volunteer programs are a great way to get involved with youth and your community. Making friends, gaining new experiences and a sense of achievement and community spirit are just some of the benefits of volunteering.

There are lots of DUC volunteering opportunities across Canada. DUC will provide you with all the information, materials and support you’ll need!
