Teen from Revelstoke Wins National Ducks Unlimited Contest

Edward McCartney, 13, of Revelstoke, BC, is going to have a busy summer. Shortly after he returns home from forestry camp near Peachland, he'll be on a plane to Manitoba where he'll spend a week camping beside a restored wetland on an all expenses paid, weeklong adventure.
Ducks Unlimited Submits Report to Walkerton Inquiry

A report entitled Beyond the Pipe submitted to the Walkerton Inquiry by Ducks Unlimited Canada clearly confirms that the management of key watershed features - including wetlands and the trees and grassland areas that surround water ways - is critical to the sustainability of water resources and the protection of our drinking water.
