Remnant of Sumas Lake site of fall habitat restoration

Throughout October, Ducks Unlimited Canada’s conservation staff will be restoring critical waterfowl and wildlife habitat at Lakemount Marsh, located just north of Abbotsford on the Sumas Prairie.
Biodiversity planning available to B.C. farmers and ranchers

Through the Canada-B.C. Agriculture Policy Framework Environmental Farm Plan, Ducks Unlimited Canada has recently made funding available to cover the costs for 60 B.C. farmers and ranchers to complete on-farm biodiversity plans.
Support grows for protection of Hamilton Marsh

Ducks Unlimited Canada and the Friends of French Creek Conservation Society announced a $200,000 contribution from the Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation to aid in the bid to purchase Hamilton Marsh, one of the last remaining freshwater wetlands on Vancouver Island.

Comox Bay Farm gets a facelift

Ducks Unlimited Canada has begun rejuvenating Comox Bay Farm, located in Courtenay, B.C. Demolition began recently to remove all buildings and salvage any remaining materials.
