Duck Detectives
You've been banded!
Did you know that scientists “band” or tag ducks and other birds with specially numbered bracelets? This helps researchers like those with Ducks Unlimited Canada to learn more about the birds and how to protect them.
If you were banded, be a Duck Detective and find out what kind of species you are! Select your wristband colour from the drop-down menu below and then choose your province on the next screen. Read about your duck and then print a certificate to show your friends and family. Have fun discovering more about wetlands and waterfowl.
