Pricing

The video collection offers competitive pricing in a variety of ranges designed for international broadcast, commercial and non-profit use.

All prices are quoted in Canadian funds. There are three licensing rate scales:

  1. Footage for nonexclusive international broadcast and/or commercial use is $30 per second

  2. Footage for nonexclusive nonprofit use is $20 per second

  3. Footage for exclusive international broadcast (footage cannot be sold to other commercial users) - price is negotiable

The minimum order requirement is 10 seconds. Tape costs, transfer fees and shipping are extra.

Transfer fees are based on a minimum one hour set-up and include costs of tape:

  • Transfer to: S-VHS, 3/4", Non-Broadcast Digital is $50

  • Beta/Beta SP is $100

  • Digital one inch Beta is $150

  • Digital (AVI, Quicktime, MPEG) is $40 per minute

  • Demo reels are available (10 minutes maximum of recorded material) as time-coded VHS tape available for $50

  • Additional material included on the same VHS demo reel will cost $10 per minute.

Shipping and insurance charges are extra.
