Good for Canada—Growing Forward
Ducks is one of Canada’s leading advocates for recognizing landowners for the ecological goods and services (EG&S) they provide. Ducks is working with government partners and other stakeholders, through ongoing discussions and input on Growing Forward, to develop sustainable agriculture practices that increase the provision of EG&S on the landscape while providing long-term benefits to landowners.
Growing Forward, announced in late June, is a new vision for Canada’s agricultural industry and will form the basis for governments to work toward a new agricultural policy framework.
In Canada, policy, legislation and regulation efforts must accelerate to conserve our natural resources.
