The Opportunity
Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC), one of Canada’s leading conservation organizations, is looking for a highly organized and dynamic Fundraising Coordinator to join our team in the Atlantic.
The Fundraising Coordinator provides support, training and troubleshooting to volunteers within the region, ensuring they are equipped with the proper knowledge and tools to host their fundraising initiatives.
The Fundraising Coordinator assists the fundraising team in raising DUC’s net unrestricted revenue through corporate sponsorships, volunteer-led fundraising activities, and other initiatives/programs within a province or region
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide support, training and excellent customer service to volunteers in all areas of their fundraising initiatives
- Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) that include reviewing existing sales performance and integrating new methods of approach to win opportunities
- Conduct personalized phone calls, in person meetings as needed and one on one communications with existing and potential donors instead of mass emails to develop relationships
- Assist the MVCF in identifying and developing sales opportunities by partnering with volunteers, individuals and corporations to achieve success.
You are a self-motivated individual with a positive, “can do” attitude, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are a reliable team player with strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Equivalent combination of education and experience in related fields may be considered in lieu of minimal educational requirements.
- Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, peer to peer platforms and Microsoft Office 365 programs.
- Excellent internal/external customer service with strong oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional relationship building skills
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to prioritize workload
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptable to change
- Familiarity with the non- profit and/or environmental conservation sectors
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
- The successful candidate will be required to submit proof of COVID-19 Vaccination.
