The Opportunity
Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC), one of Canada’s leading conservation organizations, is looking for an analytical, energetic and reliable Stewardship Administrator. This position will be based at Oak Hammock Marsh near Stonewall, MB with the flexibility to work in a home office on some days.
The Stewardship Administrator will provide a range of administrative, stewardship and financial tasks including support in the areas of stewardship administration, office and financial administration and systems administration, as requested.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with financial analysis and expenditure monitoring on a project-level or general ledger-level
- Assist with gathering projections and budget information from program leads
- Responsible for entries within the Cash Management System
- Provide guidance to all staff within Fundraising for timesheets, procurement and project management systems
- Assist with all facets of the recurring donation process and work with Head Office Finance on DUC’s payment platforms
- Develop a full understanding of Salesforce data management system
- Monitor data in Salesforce using PowerBI reporting tools
- Provide leadership and guidance to all staff on Salesforce entry and best practices
- Provide donor relations through personalized communications
- Help process donations from incoming Help Scout inquiries, emails, and telephone calls
- Lead in preparing monthly donor annual tax receipts and work with Stewardship on specialized acknowledgment letters
Requirements
- At least 1 year experience in financial support/accounting
- Experience in data management systems (such as Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.) is desirable
- Customer service and business communications experience with a wide variety of professionals, donors, supporters and staff
- Must be able to exercise judgement and maintain confidentiality
- Excellent problem solving and adaptive management skills
- Analyzes data and uses independent judgement to inform decisions
- Experience with a non-profit is considered an asset
- The successful candidate will be required to submit proof of COVID-19 Vaccination.
