Our gifts-in-kind program was created to respond to individuals wishing to donate goods to be used in support of wetland conservation. Examples of gift-in-kind items include: personal property or purchased merchandise suitable for use at our events or raffles, artwork, and land, amongst other items.

Please note that we ask all donors complete a gifts-in-kind donation form for DUC’s records. If a tax receipt is requested, the donor must also complete a donor declaration form and may be required to provide supporting documentation (such as a sales receipt, invoice or independent appraisal of the donated item). Although DUC appreciates offers of in-kind gifts, unfortunately not all items can be used for our fundraising purposes. Some in-kind donations may not qualify for a tax receipt due to certain provisions in Canadian tax laws and/or DUC’s internal policies.
