Together, small actions make a big impact.

That’s why Ducks Unlimited Canada is inviting Canadians to join our month-long campaign to Cleanup for Conservation in support of World Cleanup Day (Sept 20). From Sept 18 to October 18, organize a cleanup event in your area to help support the natural spaces that sustain wildlife, water, and communities.

As part of this global effort, Ducks Unlimited Canada is promoting cleanup events nationwide, with a focus on removing and properly recycling waste, including plastic packaging, food and beverage containers and other discarded materials that pose a threat to wildlife.

Ready to clean up for conservation in your community? It’s easy!

Choose your location and time. Pick a location and time for your cleanup between Friday, Sept. 18 to Sunday, Oct. 18.
Register your event. Register your event so others can join and your impact can be counted.
Promote your event. Share your team registration with friends, family, colleagues and your community inviting them to get involved. View promotional resources.
Plan for a safe, successful cleanup. Review our guide for tips and information to help make your event safe, organized and impactful.
Share your impact. Tell us how your cleanup went by completing the post-event survey that you will receive following your event. Share your results and inspire others to take action for cleaner communities and healthier habitats.

Every registered Cleanup for Conservation participant has a chance to win one of three DUC prize packs.

Waste removed = habitats improved! This is more than a litter cleanup, it’s a nationwide act of stewardship for wetlands and associated wildlife habitats, including shorelines, forests, grasslands, parks and trails.
