Every great beer starts with clean water: Ducks Unlimited Canada and Post & Row Brewing Co. launch new limited-time conservation partnership
Post & Row's Pintail Pilsner is available for a limited time, supporting wetland conservation.

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — October 13, 2026 — Great beer begins with great water. That’s the simple idea behind a new partnership between Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC) and Post & Row Brewing Co., one that invites beer lovers to support wetland conservation one pint at a time.

Post & Row has become the first craft brewery in Canada to join DUC’s new Sip & Support program, creating a limited-edition beer, Pintail Pilsner, that gives back to the landscapes that make brewing possible by donating a portion of proceeds from every sale.  Pintail Pilsner is a pale-gold pilsner with cracker and toasted-malt notes, a crisp, dry finish and classic noble hop bitterness. Available for purchase from October 2026 to January 2027, a portion of proceeds from every special-edition pilsner sold will support wetland conservation through Ducks Unlimited Canada.

Wetlands play a vital role in maintaining healthy watersheds by naturally filtering water, replenishing groundwater, reducing flood impacts and supporting the ecosystems that communities and businesses rely upon, and for breweries, wineries and cideries, clean water is fundamental to every product they create.

Located in Dawson Creek, the historic Mile 0 City and gateway to the Peace Region, Post & Row has built its reputation around quality craft beer and meals, local pride and creating a welcoming gathering place for its community. Becoming the first brewery to join Sip & Support reflects those same community values.

“We’ve always believed good beer brings people together,” said Clay Drouin, president of Post & Row “This partnership gives our customers another reason to raise a glass. Every purchase helps support the wetlands and healthy watersheds that make great brewing possible, and we’re proud to be part of that.”

“This month will mark the 40th annual Ducks Unlimited Canada fundraising dinner in the Dawson Creek community,” said Janine Massey, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for Ducks Unlimited Canada. “This sold-out event is a testament to the local support for wildlife habitat, and we’re pleased to partner with Post & Row to create a product that helps build upon this support.”

Sip & Support was created to help Canada’s craft beverage industry connect with conservation in a meaningful and authentic way. The program offers the beverage industry an opportunity to contribute directly to wetland conservation while sharing the story of clean water with their customers.

Find the Pintail Pilsner for sale beginning October 5 in at the Post & Row Taproom in Dawson Creek, or at select liquor stores in Dawson Creek, Tumbler Ridge, Chetwynd, Hudson’s Hope and Fort St. John, and support DUC’s mission by raising a glass responsibly.
