Celebrating our Volunteers

Our volunteers are heroes who put their passion for the outdoors into action every day. These conservation champions do their part to help protect Canada’s important wetlands, and are making a real difference for our environment – and for all of us.

Congratulations to our 2015 DUC Volunteer of the Year Alana Gibson! Thanks to Alana’s hard work with the Didsbury Chapter in Alberta, she was chosen by DUC staff, volunteers and supporters alike for this incredible honour. Nominations are now open for the 2016 DUC Volunteer of the Year. Nominate a deserving DUC volunteer today for all they do to help conserve Canada’s wetlands.

Greg Siekaniec, our CEO, talks about honouring our important volunteers and everything they do.
